Possible wedding song.

Ever since my divorce, wedding plans have been running wild through my head. Even though Tim hasn't officially asked me to marry him yet, he has made it known that he has every intention of doing so.

I think, after seven years together, I've finally found a song that I think is perfect for us on our wedding day. I'm not sure how popular it is for a wedding song (I'm guessing pretty popular, all the songs I like usually are). But, I love it.

Here are the lyrics.

I'll Be
By: Edwin McCain

The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath
Emeralds from mountains thrust toward the sky
Never revealing their depth
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated
I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above

Chorus:
I'll be your crying shoulder
I'll be your love suicide
and I'll be better when I'm older
I'll be the greatest fan of your life

Rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed
You're my survival, you're my living proof
My love is alive not dead
Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
I'll be captivated I'll hang from your lips
Instead of the gallows of heartache, that hang from above

Repeat Chorus

I've been dropped out, burned up, fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in, turned on, Remembered the things that you said

Repeat Chorus

Yep, I think that song is perfect. Not sure what Tim will think of it though. Anyone out there know how popular this song is for a wedding type of thing? I want this to be the first song Tim and I dance to as husband and wife.
