An Easter much better than last year.

Well, we spent the Easter over at my in-laws house again this year. It was a great day. Debby (my mil) and I decided that in order to make things fair this year as far as the cooking goes that she would pay for the meal and I would cook it. The plan worked out wonderfully.

So for dinner yesterday I made Chick'n Salad, a Garden Salad, Asparagus and Pasta in a light creamy sauce, fresh made bread, and a vegan (like everything else) Key Lime Cheesecake. Everything turned out awesome.

The kids had a blast and were spoiled to the core, as always. It was a little chilly out, especially for Florida but that didn't stop them. We did a big egg hunt around the yard, followed by some fun outdoor games like ring toss and that game where you have to run to the finish line without dropping the egg off the spoon. After that we had dinner and finished off the evening over there by watching a little bit of The Amazing Race.

Then, came the best part of the evening. We packed up our things and came home. Home to a house that was still in one piece and exactly the way we had left it.

Ahhh, what a difference a year makes.
